I use a component spanish(zestsoft) that uses a datapickert to select a date. http://www.padelfuentes.com/reservas-on-line

I need that this component see the date in spanish not in english. I use spanish in the web but the zestsoft developer says to me that i have a problem with jquery in the templates and he says to me that i have a problem with jquery template to see in spanish...

How can solve this?

Hello,

Nothing in the Template would affect the Languages. This is all controlled by Joomla itself. The only thing we offer regarding languages is to allow the menu to detect the current language and use that as the default menu. If you are having issues with the 3rd party extension you will need to contact them for support on it.

Thanks Mike....

The problem was with the template because i installed other template in the web and i assign this new template with the menu item that uses the component and the component works ok, i see the calendar in spanish.....If i put sports nation template assigns to the menu and  the caledar appears in english...i think the problem is the jquery of the template

i need to change this.

I wait your help please...

Hello,

Make sure your Template Parameters are setup properly for multi-lingual sites. You can follow our Tutorial here:

That is the only thing the Template would ever touch regarding multi-lingual and that is to detect whether the menu switches to a different language specific menu.

I do all that i do to works in multilingual but the problem was the same. I return to  use one language only spanish....

I install other template(of english club template)...and the datapicker works ok....i think that the problem not is the laguague because this template not have the problem....

I think the problem was when the jquery of the template sports nation that not refresh ok

i need your help mike

Hello,

I have never heard of jquery being used for language calls before, that would be first for me and I don't see how that would even be possible. You have multiple jquery js files called more than once in the source, most likely from other plugins. Neither of these are being called properly in no conflict mode.

Also, I see a call to the jquery file for the template itself, which tells me you are running vertex 3 on joomla 2.5, an that call doesn't exist in vertex 2.

Hello MIke....

I don?t know where the problem is...but i install 4 templates more and i assigned the menu item to all and the calendar show in spanish in all. Four templates all the calendar in spanish...

Only Sport nations show in english.....

Please can you help me to solved this problem...it?s very important for me because the web run a paddle reservations and the calendar it?s very important for me....if the calendar shows in other part not was important....

i wait your answer
