reCaptcha is no longer working on any Shape5 template that I have.  I've developed multiple sites using Shape5 templates and they all used to display the reCaptcha field on the contact forms.  Now, none of them are displaying the forms.  Sites are running 2.5.14, 2.5.16, or 3.1.5 so I don't think it's a Joomla version issue.  I did download another reCaptcha plugin and it worked, but I'd like to stay with the build in plugin.

Sites are:
http://www.creativepossibilities.org
http://www.vestexteriors.com
http://www.mclainchitwood.com
http://www.commandconstructioninc.com

On the Contact Us page on all of the sites.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hello,

Do you have Recaptcha enabled in the Global Configuration? Try disabling the S5 Register module to see if this helps as it uses its own captcha functions.

ReCaptcha is configured in the Global section.

And the S5 Register module is disabled.

Hello,

I would double check your Recaptcha settings in the plugin section of Joomla and make sure they are still valid. The only other thing that might possibly cause this would be the LazyLoad images script under the Javascripts in the Template Manager.

Hello,

Could you see if this occurs on one of the Joomla Stock templates. It might be an issue with something server side. I checked this locally and the Recaptcha functions were working properly.

Not working on stock templates either.

Not sure if it's server side since all of those sites are hosted on different Hosting companies.

Maybe it's a Joomla error, but it's odd that I haven't found the error reported elsewhere.

Hello,

If it occurs on the stock Templates than it would be an issue with ReCaptcha or your settings itself. Our Templates are just an additional style pre-packaged with the Joomla default Templates off their site.

I would suggest posting on joomla.org to see if they have any idea what would be causing this problem.

Just an FYI to anyone else that might be looking into this, it's a problem with ReCaptcha.  There has been success with a patch, but wasn't successful.  Should be a correction in the next update.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!!!
