I am using the S5 accordion menu and I have some menu items with the menu item type = menu heading.
Unfortunately this menu points are also showing a link and if you click on it you run into an error page.

How can I hide this link?

Please check for example the Contacts menu on ims.lopoca.com.

Thank you

Hello,

You can set these menu items to "external link" and then enter "javascript:;" for the link and this should have the same affect and won't try to load another page when clicked.

Hello Jonah,

thank you for your tip. I tried it but I couldn`t figure out where to enter "javascript:;". In the link field I wasn`t able to save.
But I changed it now to "menu item alias" and took the first menu point from the submenu. This works perfect and has also the advantage to go directly in the right content.

Thank you

Hello,

If you want to use the javascript method with the newer versions of joomla you would need to enter this in the link field.

javascript:;
