I would like to use this plugin:  http://wordpress.org/plugins/google-calendar-events/

However when it is activated, it messes up the corporate response theme.  The images in the image sliders no longer display, and the vertical accordian menu no longer works.  When I deactivate it, everything works again.

Is there a known compatibility issue with this plugin?  Any tips to get them to work together would be appreciated.

Thanks

There is no known compatibility issue, but there are a surprising number of plugins that force WP to load a second instance of jQuery after the theme has already loaded one.  I've just finished a patch to bring all Vertex-based themes forward to the same version of the framework, the next patch will have a primary focus of fixing and jQuery or javascript conflicts.

One thing you can try is to find where the plugin loads jQuery and disable that line of code, but that's a change that would be undone if the plugin is updated.

The jQuery fix is top on my list of things to do in the next patch, I just have to figure out the best way to accomplish it.

Thank you Tristan, that seemed to do the trick.
Its not ideal, but its good enough to get me going until the next patch.  Thanks for the quick response!

I'm glad I was able to help.  Sorry I couldn't provide a more "permanent" solution.  I'll definitely be working on coming up with one soon, but I'm already running behind on the release for this month because of work on the pending patch, an increase in forum activity, and troubleshooting some issues on the older demos.
