Am I correct in thinking that there is no banner position in the template? There is a module titled Banner Position but I see it is set to Pages = None.

If there is no banner position, why include the module?

The available module positions are available here:

You are correct there is no "banner" position included with this Template. The reason that is there is due to a mistake as we import the "demo" content from the previous version and modify it to save all the time of rewriting everything.
