Hello!

I'm using the Appwonder theme. In the middle of my site appears to be a blank module. I've couldn't figure out why it was there for the longest time and traced it back to the menu manager. Upon installing Joomla 3.2.1 it gives me a default menu. That makes since. Now when I go to change the default menu item it wont let me. It seems it can only be an article, and all I want it to be is a model linked to the home page. Or I just don't want it to be displayed at all because I don't have content to fill it with.

Any help fixing this would be fantastic!
Thank you!

Hello,

Do you have a URL?

Are you referring to the Component on your site? You can hide this via the Template Manager by specifying the Home Menu item to hide it.

Yes, I'm working on this site: www.skylightersfireworks.com/cms

You'll see in the attached pictures I've highlighted the area I do not want. I just know that, that section (unwantedHome.jpg) on the site is corresponding to the menu part highlighted in the second image(unwantedHome2.jpg). It seems that no matter what I change the menu item to, it yells at me and doesn't like it.

Thanks!!

Hello,

That area is being generated by the Joomla Component for Featured Articles on the Home Page. To disable that in the Template Manager under the General Tab make sure the Home Menu item is checked under here:

Select Pages You Would Like The Component and Article Area To Be Hidden On
