Installing the Vertex patch worked beautifully and Theme options are all now functioning properly with the exception of the Edit Menus section under Themes --> Appearance --> Menus.  I am unable to drag and drop Pages to new or existing menus.  All that shows in the editor window is the raw code under neath.

As most of the menus were already constructed, I have only just noticed this problem.

Any help you can give greatly appreciated!  Many thanks Smiley

What is the code that you're seeing?  A screenshot or pasted code block (use the [co de] Pasted Code Goes Here [/co de] bbcode, but without the space in the word "code") would help.

Thanks for your response.  I have attached a screen shot of the edit menu page which displays when I attempt to add some pages to a menu.  Thanks again

I haven't seen a bug like that before. Are you sure you didn't do anything else when you applied the patch?  The patch only effects the Theme Options admin area and should have no influence on the rest of the admin area.

It looks like some of the core WP javascript is broken for some reason.  I would suggest going to the updates screen and telling WP to reinstall itself, that may fix the problem.

Thanks for your reply.  The WP install has now been upgraded to 3.8.1, but no change to the menu editing options. The normal drag and drop screen flashes up momentarily, then disappears to display the screen shot attached previously

Any further suggestions greatly appreciated.

I am trying to get a patch out this week that should bring all the Vertex themes to the same version of the framework and make bugfixes a lot easier.

If you can PM me on Monday with FTP and login information for your site, I'll take a look at it and see what I can figure out.

Nobody else has had that issue with the admin patch, so my first guess would be that you have a third-party plugin installed that's conflicting with the menu manager javascript somehow.

The admin patch was posted to the FAQ a while ago and has now been replaced with the full Vertex Upgrade Patch.
