i just installed blogzine. i uploaded a background image and put the url in the template specific. i then went to the background tab in  theme that said main body create custom background. i said yes to custom background and put the name background.

now the background doesn't show up and the white content area is blank

The "Backgrounds" tab is for parallax backgrounds and isn't supported by that theme, as stated in the warning at the top of that tab in the admin.  The only place you need to change to set the background for Blogazine is in the Theme/Template Specific tab.  If you undo whatever changes you made on the Backgrounds tab, your site should start looking normal again.

The background should be site-wide.  Are you saying that it's not showing on the home page, or was it just a question?

still isn't working. i have a temp page as default until i get this working. here is example of page.
http://www.briobeauty.com/eyelash-extension-services-regular-pricing

shows all white and then gray at bottom. no background and no text that is on page.

the warning in dashboard was it might not work with some themes. didn't say it didn't work with this one. that is why i had changed it. i went back to background tab and said no to custom background. not sure what other options were or what i changed.

li installed your site shaper with everything so it would look like demo. all the pages are the same. they don't show text. they show just like the sample i posted in previous email.

Can you try deleting any .json files in the "/wp-content/uploads/cache" folder of your site?  Even if you reinstalled the shaper, the settings are stored in that file, so they wouldn't be reset unless you delete or overwrite it.

Is the logo widget set to display on all pages?

The background isn't showing because the image you're telling it to use doesn't exist.

logo working now. i thought i had put show everywhere. thanks

background. i loaded it to my media library and used that link.

it was there. when i deleted that file did it erase it all? i put it back in and now is there but only when the page is really big but i only see small portion of background. is there a size that the background needs to be? i have it left aligned. wondering if image is too big? thanks

Deleting the json file deletes all saved settings from the theme options, so anything you changed before deleting it would have needed to be set up again.

The background for Blogazine (as shown by the demo) goes behind the entire site, and is only visible on large enough screens.  Your site now appears to be functioning exactly as intended.
