Hello there

Coming back again to raise someone's help  Roll Eyes

Running a sports betting website as described using joomla 2.5 and design control

I have a script that requires users to insert date and time into a box in a certain page
When using for example standard joomla template once the users click on the box it displays a calendar and insert date and time by the format it requires automatically

If I do enalbe design control over that page, It does not show the calendar and you only have to insert numbers

is there something in the settings I can change to fix it?

Thank you

Hello,

That's something you would need to contact the developer of the extension about, we cannot debug a third party extension. Also, Design Control is only for Joomla 3, there is not a Joomla 2.5 version.

PS: Got a try with that script with vertex current on localserver and have the same problem as above

Hello,

The Vertex template does come in a 2.5 version, but converting Design Control to 2.5 is pretty involved.

Ok the problem with the jquery call was solved by scripts owner.

Now I have design_control template on joomla 2.5 and it's running but I have a problem with smartphone view because of the screen is splitted somehow and it can not display the website the way it is.

I tried to copy settings from a vertex installation on localserver which is displayed well but nothing happens.
When I installed the template it was all ok

website url is http://vmbetting.altervista.org can you please check ?

Hello,

I don't know what you mean by split. We can't debug a template install that is known to be on the wrong version. It is not only jquery that is different between 2.5 and 3.X, there are many css changes as well.

Hello,

I don't see any issues on the mobile version of your site. Again, we can't debug a website that is knowingly using the wrong version of files, there are quite a few css changes, including responsive ones, between the versions.
