There are two spots towards the top of the page that are blank and i'd like to remove them or lessen the blank space. i've attached an image of the page so that you see what i'm talking about.

I suggest using Firebug to inspect the areas that you want to adjust, and testing different margin or padding for those areas.

For me to provide support on layout, I need a URL of the site that needs changing.  I'm not a designer, and the suggestion above is the method I use, so it will save you time if you just follow those steps.

Support doesn't technically cover layout changes anyway, but if you need help figuring something out, please remember to post a URL any time you start a thread; I can't use firebug to inspect a screenshot, and there's no way I could possibly remember the CSS for even one release, let alone all of them.
