Hello,

That happens sometimes if the Joomla upgrade didn't complete. It used to happen to me a lot, but not recently. Perhaps try copying over the admin template from a fresh Joomla install of the same version.

its the site shaper.. oasis template i used..

i have tried your suggestion by uploading the site shaper files and then downloading the latest  joomla files and uploading them and still no...joy any other suggestions short of redesigning the whole dam thing again...lol

Hello,

The S5 Template doesn't control the back end that is controlled by the Joomla Administrator Template. If you PM me back end Super User and FTP I can take a look though. I tested our latest Site Shaper and it was working properly for me so it is most likely a change that was made that caused the issue.

DID Mike's suggestion work?Huh?  Could be a browser issue, just an un-educated guess, ... might be, probably is not, buttt

no it did not so i re - did the site.... fortunately only a matter of copy and past of around two dozen pages...lol

Glad you got this resolved with reinstalling. Must have been a corrupted file that was refreshed when you re-did the site.
