Template Install: There is already a Template using the named directory: Install. Are you trying to install the same template again?

This is the error I am receiving. Is there any way to "undo" what I have done?

Hello,

Did you try completely removing the previous installation? Even though the error occurs can you verify if the Template installed properly? Sometimes I see this error but it doesn't seem to impact anything.

I uninstalled Joomla at the host level to remedy a database issue. The template did not load and there is no sign of it in the Template Manager. What can I do?

Thanks.

Hello,

Templates should always be removed via the Extension Manager. The odds are you might have some old database entries or files left over if you tried to remove it at the root level of the site without doing this through Joomla. I would double check that all the files and database entries are removed and if that doesn't work your best bet might be to reinstall or update the copy of Joomla.
