I am trying to construct a page in the Cleanout theme entirely with widget positions, and want to hide the normal page content area.  I have selected "hidden" for the Content Area Visibility option on the page itself, but the page title and ?dit post" button and date are still appearing.

URL for the page is http://hogesweb.com/hogesweb-service/web-design/

I am also unable to drag widgets around in the admin panel - I am accustomed to dragging widgets between positions, and being able to drag them to the inactive section - this is currently not working.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

I may need to have you PM me login & FTP details for your site so I can take a look at the code.  That option should be working fine, so if it's not, I need to see why.

Are you using the latest version of WP?  They've changed the way widgets work, and the drag & drop sometimes doesn't work very well anymore.

Thanks for the login information, I was able to fix the content area issue and will be including the fix in a future patch; for now, just back up the vertex/loop.php from your site and copy it over to any other sites having the same issue.

As for the issues you are having with the widget and menus editors; you have a plugin installed that is causing javascript conflicts in the admin by loading unnecessary code where it doesn't belong.  I'm not a javascript programmer, but from what the Firebug console tells me, I think it's a plugin related to shortcodes.

Thanks for your help Tristan, greatly appreciated Smiley I'll check the plugins, there are a couple I can do without.  Cheers Jean
