Hello,

I am new to WordPress so i hope I am not asking stupid questions. I have successfully installed the Site Shaper and launched word press. But when I open the live site at http://appliance-repairokc.com/ the site has some error code on the top. the rest of the template comes up just fine and looks good, but there is just that error code sitting at the bottom. Below is the code

"Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/dfuller/public_html/wp-includes/shortcodes.php on line 193

Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/dfuller/public_html/wp-includes/shortcodes.php on line 193"

I can't identify what that means and I have certainly not made any changes to any of the files. At first I was able to get into the admin area but now when I log into the admin area it does not log me in it just produces a large amount of error code shown below

Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/dfuller/public_html/wp-includes/shortcodes.php on line 193

Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/dfuller/public_html/wp-includes/shortcodes.php on line 193

So I have no idea what to do any help or suggestions would be great. Thank you very much!

From what I can tell, all the errors you are getting are in WordPress core code.  I suggest updating WP and seeing if that fixes it (you can manually update by downloading the latest version from wordpress.org and uploading to your site through FTP).

Hey Tristan, Thanks for the response, when I install the the whitepaper and open the admin area, it advises me that there is a new version and I update it right away. Are you saying that  there are more updates that I have not gotten?

Are you saying that the problem happened immediately after installing the Site Shaper and continued after a full update?  Nobody else has had that problem, so there's a good chance that somehow something got corrupted when you uploaded it to your server, or after the install.

Your site looks fine now though; and I see you've chosen to go with Business Pro instead.  If you continue using that theme, please post any future questions to the board for that theme.

Is it ok for me to lock this thread as completed?
