I am remaking a real estate website that we previously built in Joomla using your Life Journey template. http://lunsfordrealestate.com/

We are remaking it in WordPress, and I would like to use your latest WP template Business Pro. I know you do not necessarily provide support for your templates to work with 3rd party plugins. But I really stand by your templates as the latest and greatest for responsive layouts and cool tools. And I want to do everything possible to continue using them.

I cannot get the real estate slideshow to work on the dslDXpress plugin. They say it should work with most WordPress templates. But I cannot get the slideshow to work using any of your WordPress templates. Do you think the 2 are simply incompatible. Or is there some type of adjustment you can see that I should make? I can get a little better layout using EZ Webhosting and LimeLight. But still the slideshow does not work in any of them.

Here is a link to what the page should look like http://www.daniellecordova.com/idx/mls-oc14116704-31051_via_peralta_coto_de_caza_ca_92679

And this is what it looks like in Business Pro http://beachlogwebdesign.com/lrepmidx/idx/mls-20649414-14_sunny_st_irvine_ca_92620

Do you think I can make them work together?

If I have the Firebug javascript console open and look at the page on your site where you are having issues, it gives a few errors that could be causing the problem.  The most significant one seems to be about something in jQuery not working correctly.  I'm not sure if that means the wrong version of jQuery is being called or something else entirely, but I don't see any errors being caused by theme files.

You are correct that 3rd party support isn't guaranteed, but I do like to provide whatever help I can..  I just don't know where to start in your case.  The site you linked to as an example keeps force-redirecting me to a simulated mobile version, so I don't get enough time to look at it before it reloads.  It looks like there are some CSS issues being caused by the plugin as well, but when I looked at it with Firebug, I wasn't sure what was causing the alignment issues...  but I'm not a designer, so my CSS knowledge is limited.

It looks like the plugin you're using is very close to working correctly, it just seems to have the CSS and javascript issues that need fixing, so I'm sure there has to be a way to fix the compatibility.

I suggest using the Firebug console to get the errors and post them to the support forums for the plugin, and see what they have to say about it.  If they can give more details about what might be causing the errors, I might be able to help resolve them.
