Hi,
I am using the player on this page... http://st.velgert.is/index.php/home/stjoernulagidh

It loads on chrome but the song doesn't...  (the url of the song is correct as it plays if I put the URL directly into the browser).  It does not seem to load at all in IE.

So I can click play and the button changes to a pause icon..   but the song does not play.

Any help will be appreciated...

Best wishes,
Bragi

Hello,

The player is loading fine for me on IE. This is a flash plugin so flash needs to be installed and enabled on the browser in order for it to show on your local browser.

Thank you for your reply.     Does the song play for you when you click play ?   It doesn't for me...

Hello,

No, it's not playing in any browser. Loading the mp3 in the browser:

http://st.velgert.is/images/stjornulagid.mp3

Gives an error that the mp3 file is corrupt.

Hi,
I am still trying to figure this out...  I have a new file loaded and also a m4a version.  Neither one works.   But they both work when I play them directly through the browser.  I have also tried this on a friends computer and it doesn't work there either, but the direct links work.

Direct links:  http://st.velgert.is/images/stjarnan.m4a     and    http://st.velgert.is/images/stjornulagid.mp3

The link to the webpage that I am trying to use the plugin on is:  http://st.velgert.is/index.php/home/stjoernulagidh

It seems to load but it just doesn't play.

Hello,

This does not play m4a files, it is built for mp3's only. Can you please update the code to the correct file format so I can view it with this call? Can you please also post a url of the code in the editor?

Hello,

It is still an issue with the actual mp3 file. Try loading this file in the browser:

http://st.velgert.is/images/stjornulagid.mp3

And the browser itself says that it can't be played because the file is corrupted. There is something wrong with the actual file itself.

This is strange.. because when I load exactly this in my browser, or even just click the link you sent, the file plays fine...   no error comes up.  And the same at the computer at home and at my friends...

Hello,

I am attaching a picture of the error so you can see the problem in the browser. If the browser itself cannot play the mp3, then the mp3 player will not able to either.
