Link to the site I have a question about is: http://j-techlaserscan.com/

I've noticed that the links on the accordion menu module published in the left position only work if you click on the linked text. However the hand appears if you hover over the block surrounding each menu link. So if you were to click just in the block (but not right on the text) you might think the link didn't work.

However, when I look at the business_pro demo site on your server, it appears that clicking anywhere in the space surrounding the link will take you to the linked page.

Is there something in the setup of the module I've done incorrectly? Or is this an issue with the module itself?

Running Joomla 3.3.
I do have the current version of the s5 Accordion Menu module installed as well as the current version of vertex.

Hoping you can help Smiley

I originally posted this note in the Business_Pro template forum and it was moved to this forum. It's been 2 days now and no one has looked at it .... really hoping someone can take a look at this so I can get this issue fixed.  Thanks.

Hello,

Sorry about that, your post was overlooked.  I'm not sure why this is happening actually.  There doesn't appear to be any difference besides your site not having sub menu items.  You can add the below CSS though and I think this will get the hyperlink to extend full length:

Code:
#s5_accordion_menu h3.s5_am_toggler a.mainlevel {
Display:block;
}

I appreciate the response. I added this but now if you click in the area beside the text I get a 404 error - url reads /undefined.
If you click on the text, the link still works.
I can't leave it like that on the live site - but I do have a replica of the site on another domain to test it. You can see it here:

Couple of other things I noted today. I wondered if it might be some kind of jquery conflict with another component I have installed.
But I installed the site shaper with no additional extensions to test that theory and found that I was seeing the same thing. You have to click on the text for the link to work. You can view that here:

I also added that snippet of css to this test site - it doesn't seem to fix the problem  - although I don't get the 404 error when I click beside the text like I do on my live site..

I wonder if you have an old version of the accordion menu.  Can you try downloading and install a fresh version to make sure?

Before I posted originally, I made sure I had the latest version of Vertex and I also downloaded and re-installed the accordion menu module from your site here:
http://www.shape5.com/component/option,com_docman/Itemid,96/task,cat_view/gid,91/

When installed it says it's version 2.1.0. Is there something more current than that version? Please let me know asap as I'm anxious to get this resolved.

Ok on your site here:

http://azdesign.ca/jtech-laserscan/

Did you add the below from my above post?

Code:
#s5_accordion_menu h3.s5_am_toggler a.mainlevel {
    display: block;
}
template.css (line 12)

In firebug I removed this and then your accordion menu functioned normally for me.  Would you be able to PM me FTP login if you still are having issues with this after removing the CSS from line 12?

Thanks,

Hello,

Thanks I did receive it but checking the site it doesn't seem to do it, is it because you don't have top menu item that is a link?  Or is it fixed now

As of the time of your note it was not fixed.
As of now, it is working but I've paid someone to fix it.
You can reply to my personal message if you want to hear what had to be changed to get it to work.
