Hi,

I've got a site with lots of main menu items and it goes over to two lines. The sub menus on the top line work correctly but on the 2nd line, the drop down menu initially drops down underneath it but then jumps to the top of the page.

Attached is a screenshot of it when selecting the 'Rugby' parent item on the 2nd row is selected.

Any ideas how to fix?

Thanks,

Mike

Hello,

The menu system is not built for two lines, it's only stylized and coded to work on one line. It may not be possible to go to two lines, because of the way the javascript aligns the subs. Please post a url to where this occurs.

Hello Mikeyt,

Unfortunately the menu system was only design for a single row. What is currently happening on your site is the menu is too large and being forced to a 2nd row. The way javascript aligns the subs requires a single line display for the rendering to snap to its appropriate position. You can get around this by:

a) Grouping similar menu items such as Cricket, Rowing, Rugby etc into a main parent Menu Item called "Sports"
b) Reducing the overall menu font size and padding
c) Removing any unnecessary menu items
d) Moving the search module to a different area of the site

Let us know if you have any further questions!

Regards,
