Hi,

How can you move the breadcrumbs area above an article, so that where it says: You are Here: Home (it's above an article instead of below it. Screenshot enclosed

Unfortunately this is not possible with s5 templates without hacking the source code in php.
I would not recommend this because with updates you have to maintain this manually.
And if you would forget this issue... ;-)

Maybe you have a look at the corporex theme from joomshaper.
Joomshaper has understood, that a template framework can be really flexible, even with positions and modules. ;-)

I like s5 templates a lot, but I do not like this unflexability ;-)

Hello,

The above information is correct. You would have to move the breadcrumbs div in the index.php file to another desired location. You can also publish the breadcrumbs module to a different module position provided with Vertex.
