Hi there,

I'm trying to upload the Design Control Template (current, not site shaper) to a Joomla 3 site through the ext manager, but it doesn't happen: I locate the zip-file (converted from the download from your site), click upload, it seems to start but never goes through. The screen turns blanc and if I loose my patience and hit enter, I just get to the extension manager page with no file chosen.

If I try to rename the zip-file (1,4 mb) while still having my Joomla session active, I get the message that the file is being used.

I have tried to download your template twice thinking that maybe it got corrupted during download, but that doesn't change anything.

Do you have any suggestions?

Best regards

Hello,

That sounds more like a latency issue on your server where it's timing out or something corrupted in your Joomla install. I would suggest installing a fresh Joomla installation in a sub directory and then try to install the template in there, if the problem still continues on the new installation then there's a server latency issue going on. If it installs fine then there is an issue with your Joomla installation.

Thanks for your reply. I tried your trouble shooter, and found out that I could not upload the template to another site, but the web host says that there is no server issue. I finally managed to upload the template via FTP but I still don't understand what the problem was (is).

Not 100% sure on that one.

I tested the Template on a few setups here and it installed without any issues. I am glad you got it working via FTP though.
