Hi I have a third party module that needs to have the intro images tab working and filled in to display the images in the module..... ok so no issue there.
The issue comes as any page with a blog category layout displays two images ... one the normal responsive image I have always got that doesn't 'break' the template layout and the intro image which isn't responsive and doesn't fit within the category blog layout I have as the image is too large.
I was wondering a few things...
1) can the template be modified to only pull one of the images either first in the article OR the intro image?
2) can the intro image be made responsive?
3) can you make a module that pulls articles from categories and is a content slideshow that isn't a manual input - by that I mean we just set the categories and leave it to auto pull.
The content sliders are great but I'm pretty mobile with intermittent internet and it would be easier to just input the article and press publish.
If you have something like this can you point me in the right direction ??

Cheers
Ian

Hello,

1) You would need to alter the "Blog Settings" under the Menu Item itself that it is linked to. You can adjust the # of Leading Articles which will show up as full page width.

2) This image is part of the Joomla Core output itself but if you identify the ID/Class of the image in Firebug you can add something like width: 100%; which will allow it to scale proportionately.

3) I am not aware of a way to do this. The only option in Joomla to display Articles from Categories would be Category Blog or Category List. You might be able to find a 3rd party extension on extensions.joomla.org that can provide this functionality for you.
