Hi,

I have some problems with this template, I hope that someone will help me.

1. The reg. part don't work after I have moved the template from a subdomain to the org. domain, how do I solve this ?
2. Want to change the text in the reg. part, where do I change this ?
3. It seems that the template don't work in IE anymore, how come ?
4. If I have to make a new reg. form, how can I do this - so it works whit out the Joomla build in reg. ? I will make the reg. form in RSForm pro.

Best regards, Morten

Hello,

1) Maybe make sure you haven't added the wrong Live Site URL for the site or make sure its not redirecting to the old host? The Template itself doesn't affect Registration that is all handled by the Joomla Core.

2) You can enable the System - User plugin to add / remove certain preset fields. Adjusting the default fields would require manually adjusting the Language XML files or using the built in Language Override Feature in Joomla.

3) What issues are you having in IE specifically?

4) You can use an Alternate URL redirect on the buttons so when a user interacts with it it takes them to a separate page with your new form.

Hi,

Thanks for your fast reply - and SORRY, this should have been under "Helion".

1. That's maybe the problem, where and how do I change this ?
2. Do you have the files names where I can chang this ?
3. Some one told me, that there was problems with the template in IE - I'm not sure, I don?t have IE only Crome, Firefox and Safari.
4. How do I do that ?

Best regards,

Hello,

1) In the configuration.php file on the server or under the General Tab in the Template Manager for Live Site URL (IF SEO Enabled)

2) I do not have the default file names but this type of change requires manually adjusting core Joomla files. We do not provide support for this type of change. If you use the Language Override feature built into the back end of Joomla and do a search for any values you can change them that way

3) It seems fine in IE11 for me. If they are using an older version of IE such as IE8 or lower that might be the issue. IE8 doesn't support the latest CSS web standards.

4) In the Template Manager under the General Tab you will see input boxes for Login/Logout/Register as well as Alternate URL Redirect boxes for each one. If you add a URL redirect in these boxes when the user clicks the link it will take them to a different page.

Hi again,

Great, and thanks for your answer.

1. I have asked someone how know's Joomla well, if he could solved this issue.

3. That make sense.

4. I have already done a new reg. form - but how exactly does this work, would a person be able to login after he/she have done a reg. How does I link to a form, if it?s not in a article....where do I place this new reg. form...?

Hello,

You can either assign the S5 Register module to the "register" position or use the alternate URL redirect for a 3rd party registration form. After the user registers they will be able to login to the site via the "Login" module on the front end of the site.
