Hello Jonah,

we've talked about this before in another thread, but since some other topics were covered in it, I prefered to open another thread to keep things clean.

I did a full reinstall of the SiteShaper as I told you in the other thread. Now the thing is... the custom module of the S5 MailChimp Plug-in seems to have a problem on my website. I simply don't have the fields shown in the tutorial (the same you posted a screenshot of in the other thread). I then installed the S5 MailChimp Plug-in manually as downloaded from your site, but the backend doesn't look the same as the one included with ContentKing. The thing is, with the one I installed manually I do have the fields to include the API Key and everything else. Is there any way to avoid having to reinstall everything all over again? With the custom version of the plug-in, do I have to find the config details somewhere else? I'll send you the user credentials so you can check for yourself. Both plug-ins are installed and the manually installed is the one that's published on the website. With all the tinkering I think I also messed up the frontend of the custom MailChimp plugin.

Kind regards,
Marcos

Correct that is because we had to release an update for the plugin to include the API key. So the one in the site shaper was just an older version.

Hi Jonah,

I just answered your PM and then saw your reply over here. Now the thing is.... how do I get the manually installed S5 MailChimp plug-in to look like the custom one? The frontend looks completely different (and ugly/empty). (btw: no need to reply to my PM, as that got sorted out with your answer here)

Kind regards,
Marcos

Oh I see what you mean. Its actually just a Content King module style that is on the MailChimp by default. So you just need to add "-centered_dark" to the module admin area for class suffix. Then it will look like the demo and a fresh site shaper install.

I couldn't check this out before, now I tried and the options aren't the same on the downloaded (non-custom) MailChimp module. I've attached two images. You can see that in the S5 MailChimp that I installed sepparately after intalling ContentKing there isn't any Module Suffix option.

Second image (the upload limit is just a bit stupid...)

001 = custom module
002 = standard module

Hello,

Its there it just moved to the first tab. I'm not sure why there was this change.

I updated the max upload size per post. It was quite low as you stated.

Thanks,

Hello,

Thanks Jonah that worked.. but as you can see on soundmarcus.com , the text appears on the right side and it is barely visible... how can I adjust this? Color, fontface and stuff... CSS? Any direct way?

Thanks for your help, kind regards.

It looks like you are using "-centered_dark" but the demo is using "-centered_dark2" I would try switching to the demo's module style "-centered_dark2"

Ah ok I see whats going on. So I was wrong. The MailChimp module should be "-centered_dark". Then remove the pre-text you have in the MailChimp admin area of the module. Next create a custom HTML module with the class "-centered_dark2" and published that below the MailChimp module with your text "Sign Up to our Newsletter!!"

Thanks Jonah, to what position should I publish the custom HTML module?

To the same position as the MailChimp module. Just set the ordering to show below it and that is exactly what we have done on the demo.
