Hi

I know this technically relates to 3rd party extensions, but I'm not asking for troublshooting regarding each of those plugins, just a general question.  For this template, I have tried about 5 different plugins to make an image within an article zoomable or clickable and appear in a lightbox.  On every single occasion, despite intalling without issue, there is a problem and they do not work proper.  Clearly there is an S5 feature with S5 coding (probably a very good feature, no doubt) that is causing a conflict.  I would like to know what I need to disable in order to make these plugins work?  I thought that disabling the multibox in Vertex would do the trick, but it doesn't.  Multibox itself works great, and I like it, but it is not designed to zoom on mouse over.  I need something like the very popular Magic Zoom plugin, but it, like all other plugins related to Javascript images, is hindered by this template.

Is there any way you can suggest a way to make S5 and these plugins get along?  It is not one isolated plugin - it is every single one of them related to these types of image features.  Understanding how to make them work would open up the template to a world of features.  At the moment it is severely restricting my choices.  I'm sure it's a simple matter of disabling the right thing...?  There is a javascript war going on somewhere and it needs a peace treaty.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello,

Only ones I can think of would be:

S5 Box (via modules)
Multibox (via extension manager)
Anything under the Javascripts Tab can be toggled off
Anything you may have added via Extension Manager

Other than that you would want to use some form of script debugger to see what is active on the page and where the conflicts are coming from. All the scripts that aren't toggleable via the Extension Manager are required for the Template to function.

Thanks Mike.  Can you please recommend a script debugger?   Thanks again.

Hello,

The one in Chrome/Firefox (Firebug) work pretty well. That type of debugging is not an easy task though and requires knowledge of Javascript.
