I saw this feature on another Shape5 template, but I can't find it on GCK.

I want to have the home page, but I want to hide it from the Main Menu. Is this possible?

People would still see Home page when going to www.AllAbbott.com and when clicking on the logo. Just want to hide it in main menu to keep the site simple.

Thanks!

Hello,

Unfortunately that automated feature is built only into specific themes. Your best bet with GCK would be to set your default menu to a menu item that is not in the main menu so it won't appear on the front end. "Home" is not required just a default menu item for page load so you can delete "Home" as long as another menu is set as default.

I'm sorry. Can you explain how to do this, or where to go in the admin to make these changes?

Hello,

As stated that isn't an option with this Template. The menu suggestion I made was to create a separate menu structure in the Joomla back end assign assign your "Home" Menu item to that page. Then create a separate menu item with all your other menus and use that as your default menu in the Template Manager > Menu field.
