I tried to upgrade from 2.4 to 3.4 several times and kept getting error with the xxxx_tags field in the sql database. I read a previous post shape5 people said it was an upgrade issue from joomula, I talked to them and said it was poor devleopment and not there issue.

I upgraded, and applied the sql patch that you guys posted in a previous post (i changed the xxxxx_ to the proper text) and it didn't help at all. So I did what I had done in a previous upgrade of a differnt vertex site, I deleted the xxxx_tags all together, and upgraded with no errors and can access the back end with no issues. I then tried to re-apply the sql patch and it said it wasn't needed because the tags was already re-created and I used phpadmin to double check.

So I turn the site from off-line to online and the page is just blank. So I double check the template to make sure it is selected, and then thought perhaps I needed to remove the template and re-install since it's now 3.4 version. So I set a new default template, removed the template, then uploaded re-uploaded it. Set it as the default and it's still blank a blank site. The backened seems to work fine, I can access all settings, includeing the ones in the template.

Suggestions?
