At http://ahstaxgroup.ca I have played with .row-fluid .span12 in bootstrap-default.css and    .row-fluid .span12 in bootstrap-responsive.css to change the width of my content area based on screen resolution. This works for any size screen down to 800 x 600 however, I still have a problem with the iPad in portrait mode where the content bleeds into the right module.

I have a couple of questions:
  • have I altered the right settings above or was there one setting that I should have changed instead of the two I did alter?
  • what is the purpose of the asterisk in front of the width tag? See example below
Code:
  .row-fluid .span12 {
    width: 95%;
    *width: 99.94680851063829%;
  }
Thanks

Hello,

You should be able to adjust this under the Layout Tab of the Template Manager. Just adjust the body widths as well as the right/left columns as needed.
