I'm using Incline and when I try to add a span tag for using ionicons it gets automatically erased upon saving. I've looked into the TyneMCE plugin prohibited tags and <span> is not one of them.  Only applet and script are listed as prohibited tags. Ionicons seem to be properly installed as sample page "our services" show them properly. When I edit that page on Article editor, span tag are also removed.

Any ideas on what could be happening?

Thank you,

This is an issue with the default Joomla editor TinyMCE. I would suggest trying JCE Editor or swapping your editor to "None" when editing coding like this.
