I'm having some issues getting the menu active/current to work how I want it.

Currently, my SHOP menu item off the Main Menu is a Menu Item Alias for my SYRUP tab of my Product Categories menu.

I want the SHOP menu item to stay highlit w/ colored text and the arrow and bar while users are using the Product Categories menu items.

Then I want the current Product Categories menu item to have the background highlit w/ the yellow and Text to be white (which it currently does).

But when I navigate to items other than SYRUP, it stays as ACTIVE and remains highlit.

I started manually editing the css to get the changes I wanted but then realized it might possibly just be a setup issue w/ the s5 Menu types.

Thanks.

Hello,

A bit confused by what you wrote but I do see the "Store" menu item isn't staying highlighted. Do you have an article assigned to change page via the component? Try adding one and then hiding it via the Template Manager. I believe Joomla looks for this when detecting whether a page is active or not but if you just added an extension to the menu item it might not know the page is active.
