Hi Shape 5,
I am trying to use the Hide Classes settings in the theme. I am not able to get the classes to apply to an area to hide it. I am trying to hide the Shape5 Image Slide from the home page on mobile screen sizes.  I can not find the settings in the Vertex template configurations for hiding a section of the template. Is this feature in the WordPress version or just the Joomla version of Vertex? I read through the documentation Responsive Best Practices. I have tried adding the "class=hide_all" to test where I have to add in the class but nothing seems to work. I have tried applying the classes to the title of the widget(both the Shape5 ImageSlide widget and the S5 Image Slide it self) and also the Responsive visibility classes boxes within the widget settings. NEither one works. Can you give me some tips on how to get his to work? Is there any other documentation on using this feature?
Thanks.

The classes should work fine in the "Responsive visibility classes" field of the widget settings.  All you should have to do is enter them (without the "class=") with spaces between them.

Hi Tristan,
Thanks for the instructions. I'm not sure if this is a bug with the hide classes or it was designed this way, but the hide classes do not work if the widget is in either the Custom 1, 2 or 3 positions. I final was able to get them to work when I moved the widget out of the Custom locations.

The custom positions in any release are designed for a specific purpose within that release.  It is very possible that allowing those positions to hide wasn't part of the intended function in this release.
