checking the metrics it recommended that I Specify image dimensions

then lists the images

The following image(s) are missing width and/or height attributes:

XXX
XXX
etc...

Will adding width and height affect the responsive layout going from the different devices such as PC to ipad to iphone?

Hello,

No adding the width/height should not cause responsive issues as long as you add the width/height to be the exact size of the actual image dimensions. If the image is 100x100 and you set width/height to 50x50 then it'll never go past the 50x50 constraint when screen is maximized.
