I've just downloaded this template to replace an older shape5 template that is not moble friendly. But since all I did was downlaod the template I didn't get the built in modules. What is the module name that I need to install to make the pictures fade into text, and text into pictures?

Hello,

Are you referring to the S5 Image and Content Fader? This is available under our "Free Downloads" section of the site.

On your demo site http://www.shape5.com/demo/index.php?no1_shopping

You have the large fader with the text in the middle

And you have the smaller images that fade in or out with text.

Is that done with Image and Content Fader v2 ?

Hello,

1) The large image is the S5 Image and Content Fader v3.

2) The smaller images around it are Info Slide modules.

If you install a Site Shaper to a sub directory or locally you can reference off the back end itself and copy paste any settings/coding needed.

Thanks that was a big help. one of my issues which I was coming to write about was that I was trying to use S5 Image and Content Fader v3 module three times on the front page. One for the left silder and then two for the liddle slides on the right side. And it was really making a mess of the site.

So the big slide uses the S5 Image and Content Fader v3 and the smaller 'slides' the ones with the text with the images that wiggle are using S5 Frontpage Slide Module ?

Hello,

The large image uses the S5 Image and Content Fader (you can also only have one of these per page active) and the smaller images are just images wrapped with the info slide classes. I would suggest either using the Site Shaper or you can review the Info Slide details here:

What you linked to me is exactly what I want, but I've spent the last hour going through both the free and paid extentions and I don't see any of them named info slide, and the page you linked to me does not link to the module either. The only one that looked close is called "S5 Image Slide" and cliking on the demo it dosn't look anything like info slide. Would be kind and link me directly to the info slide download? Again I'm sorry for being such an aggrivation I just can't seem to find it...

A little bit off-topic but I'll go ahead and ask.  The site I am working on is http://www.appalachiantrading.com/ and published the s5 image and content fader v3 to top_row1_1. The images are not my final images just place holders so I know it doesn't look that good yet.

How did you get the text to go on two lines and differnt fonts and colors like in your online demo?
http://www.shape5.com/demo/index.php?no1_shopping

Until I can figure out the slide module that goes to the right of the picture like your demo I created two custom html modules and a image that just has a solid color rectangle in it. I published those both to top_row1_6.  And on the website you can see where I turned the title's on and just called them block1 and block2. The thing is that the image does not show up on the webpage unless I turn off the s5 image and content fader? What am I doing incorrectly?

I found out that it's a script http://www.shape5.com/documentation/Vertex-Framework/Core-Features/Info-Slide
When I publish the script futher down the page it works fine but when I place it next to the s5 content fader it only shows the the title name "test" and nothing else shows.

On my page http://www.appalachiantrading.com/#

css verison 2 works fine

But the script i want to use css version 5 spans the entire page.

Both are on the website at the mometn for comparison

I needed to clean up the main website page so temporarly I created a menu item called debug. And I published the scripts to that page for review.

css version 2 seems to work just fine, but the one I want to use is css version 5, and it spans the entire page for some reason.

Also if I publish either of the scripts beside the s5 image slider they don't show up except for the tittle.

Hello,

There is specific coding used in the Site Shaper for the Info Slide HTML input boxes. I would suggest installing the Site Shaper (even if you aren't going to use it) to a sub - directory so you can copy over any of the HTML / Settings from the Site Shaper you are trying to reproduce.

The Image and Content Fader V3 is part of the Free Extensions Database and Info Slides are built directly into Vertex and can be called with the HTML values provided in the Site Shaper or the Tutorial.
