Hello,

Joomla 3.4.1 and Luxon current template.

Image and Content Fader set to width 100% and Stretch to Fit

Using http://quirktools.com/screenfly/ to check all devices

Site is www.gemtree.com.au/new15

I am having the following issues;

1) On the home page in mobile devices you cannot see the images in the Image and Content Fader due to the logo not resizing for mobile devices and the Custom 4 module not resizing for mobile devices
2) The menu is set to Fluid and the Body width 96 and Optional Max Body Width set to 1600 but this does not appear to resize in smaller screen sizes.

Your assistance in resolving these issues is greatly appreciated.

Hello,

1. Your Image and Content Fader settings are not set properly. On the demo we have the stretching disable at certain width so that the IACF has a minimum height to it. The way you have it is the IACF will continue to get shorter and shorter in height. You need to enable the disable at width feature in the backend of the IACF module. Please also refer to the site shaper for the default settings.

2. The menu is fluid and is resizing on smaller screens, but you have too many menu items for the area. I'm not really sure there is any other way for menu items to fit in that area because of how long your menu is; the spacing between each link is already very minimal so there wouldn't be anywhere to take space from. I would suggest consolidating the menu some to allow for more space.

Hello, thanks for the speedy reply.

1) I think I now have the ICAF sorted.

2) How do I get the logo to reduce in size for mobile devices?

3) How do I get Custom 4 module to reduce in height for mobile devices?

4) Points 2 and 3 are now the reason why I cannot see the images in ICAF on mobile devices.

5) Thanks for the answering the menu issue. Not sure what I can do there as the menu needs to be that big. Maybe close the gaps and reduce menu font size a touch.

Cheers

Hello,

For #2 and #3 I checked your site and rescaled the resolution but everything seems to be reducing in size based on the containers. There isn't a way without using really specific @mediascreen queries to get a logo to resize outside of this.

5) Yes just reduce the overall padding / font size / character count to help with scaling.

I have the same issue for the logo overlapping the menu for "smaller" screens, the problem is that happens already at 1024 pixels... Is there a way to have the template switch to the Hamburger menu at a specific resolution (pixels) and if yes, where can I set this?

Thanks

Hello,

You can set the resolution at which the responsive menu triggers my modifying the very first line in s5_responsive_bars.css.
