i've posted background pics to top row 1_1, and top row 2_1 on my homepage.
top row 1_1 has a clear picture, but top row 2_1 has a kind of halftone gradient to it (same as the video in custom 1).

how do i choose to keep or get rid of this gradient in these (or any other) modules?
thanks...

Hello,

This is a background overlay controlled in the Template Manager > Backgrounds Tab for that row position. The image specifically that is overlaid is:

i only saw overlay options in the theme specific tab, pertaining to custom 1.

in the backgrounds tab, i did not see overlay on/off option.
for example, Top Row2 Area1 Settings-
what was available to modify is:

Set Your Own Custom Background
Choose a background color
Background Image Name
Background Image Repeat Option
Background Image Position Option
Background Image Size Option
Custom Background Image SizeInfo
Background Image Attachment Option
Enable Parallax?

Hello,

You just need to make sure you use a transparent pattern overlay as the background. You can create 2 layered images in the Backgrounds Tab. I have attached a settings sheet illustrating the effect from our demo.
