I downloaded the Callie Rush - Template - Current.
I used the extension manager to try to download the file. Error: There is already a template using the named directory: install. Are you trying to install the same template again..

I need instructions on how to override the existing 2.5 template with the new 3.0 version. i am assuming i will need FTP instructions....
Please advise.

Hello,

You would want to completely remove the Template via the Extension Manager. After doing so check in the /templates folder on the server to ensure no files were left behind. After that is done you can reinstall the 3.X version of the Template for your CMS.

Hello,

You need to reinstall any modules to their latest versions. Get the latest versions off their respective sites or download areas.

Mike,
I did update Callie Rush template and modules to the current versions...
Cloudaccess support suggested i contact Shape 5 on this issue.
Please advise.

screenshot attached.

Hello Robert,

I have managed to make changes under the config file and made your site live. The site was giving 1054 error. Screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/DNxLFWoT8khh
We investigated further and found that the issue was causing due to the template 'Callie rush' of Shape 5 - I changed the default template to protostar and the site started loading. You can contact the developer of the template and provide them the screenshot and ask for assistance in resolving this error. The backend is still giving lot of errors - looks like the update did not worked correctly.

I would suggest you to restore the site with the backup you took and upgrade again. Here is the link where you can follow the instructions on how to upgrade the site step by step: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=710&t=793171
I believe this will be very helpful in upgrading your site.

Hope this information helps. We are here to help so feel free to update the ticket in case you need assistance from us.

Hello,

The Template wouldn't generate a 1054 error but if you PM me back end Super User and FTP access I can take a look.

Hello,

Super User access means a login to the /administration portion of the site with a Super User account. FTP Access you can get the details to login through your host or Cpanel would work as well.
