Hello.  I am starting to design the Multibox and Menus locations on the widgets.  Can you please tell me which widgets you use to populate the picture attached to this post?

I assume that I use the a text widget for the Multibox, in the left_inset position and the s5 Vertical Menu is in the Left widget?

I would like my site to mirror the demo...LOVE it!

best regards,

Brad

The tiled multibox images are in Middle Top 1, and the menu is in Left with a Search widget above it.

It is going to be difficult to mirror the demo without a copy of the Shaper installed to work from; while I will help as much as I can, providing content that is readily available in the shaper isn't technically covered by support.  Also, the demos are locked down after they are installed on the main server, and I don't keep them installed on my dev server more than a couple weeks after packing them up.  Being able to actually see everything from the back-end will really help you understand how it all works.  If you use something like AMPPS or XAMPP, you can install the Shaper on your local computer, instead of needing to put it on a web server.

Thank you.  I will work with the locations etc. and do my best to mirror the demo site.  I also have been reviewing the Demo's Inspect Element while in Chrome.

I suspect I could copy the divs and make a go at that with a text box handling all the code.

How would I install this onto XAMPP?  I actually have that on my computer...

Best regards,

George

To install the shaper into XAMPP, just extract the shaper to anywhere in the "www" or "public_html" folder of the XAMPP install, then open "localhost" in your browser (with the subfolder path, if you extracted to a subfolder of www or public_html).  This should load up the WP installer.  On a XAMPP install, you should be able to just use any database name you want with "root" as both the username and the password, and XAMPP will create the database for you; if this is not the case, then XAMPP should have an easy database tool to allow you to create one that can be used in the install.

The installer will automatically inject the sample data into the database, and that should be all you need to do.

Thank you very much.  I will give that a try.

Brad

The installer will automatically inject the sample data into the database, and that should be all you need to do.
