Is there a way to change out what that image on each page is?

I first tried just adding the s5 image content and fader to the page, however, that forces me to put a title in the display for it to work properly and leaves too large of a gap between the top and the menu for my sub pages.

I then tried just creating a custom html and adding the image to that and placing it in the custom html, but that removes the whole main content.

Any way to make this happen?

The the stationary image is a background image of the body not a module area. The only way you could do that is create multiple template styles, and assign the styles to specific pages.
