Hi guys,
I have a Developer's License.

When the ICF is set to "stretch to fit" it's enormous like on your Demo. I really want to use this template for one of my client's sites, but I need their home page slideshow to not be so enormous.

Is it possible to change the ICF on this template so that it is responsive and does stretch to fit on every device screen size?

Please say yes, I really don't wanna abandon this template too!

thanks!

Hello,

All the height settings are controlled in the backend of the module. I would recommend having some level of this though on your site, or there won't be any room for text on smaller screens, that's why it's set so large. If you want the module to be a little smaller on smaller screens just reduce the "height" parameter in the module's backend. This parameter:

"If Stretch to Fit is enabled: Enter in the width in pixels to disable stretching, ex 800px" - Means that the height will be automatic in ratio with the width until the windows reaches that width. So when the screen width reaches 800px (if that's what you have it set to), the height and width stay in ratio. At that point the height is no longer automatic, but is set to the "height" parameter's setting.

You can also update the module to the latest version. This was updated with our most recent template Game World, to also allow for a specific height on mobile devices. If you upgrade, just read over the tooltips for each area, it fully explains what each field does.

Can you tell me a proper size for my ICF images in pixels please?

I need to use fluid so that the website is always displayed at full width of the screen.

thanks

Hello,

There is no proper size, you can create them any size that you want and set the module settings to any size that you want. The demo images are 1500x670, but again they are kept in aspect ratio so that size doesn't mean much; meaning they stretch to the screen size. I would not suggest using images any shorter than 450px in height.

The settings on the demo are set to 800px for height and 1800px for stretch to fit to be disabled. But again, you can change those to any setting you would like, but that is what is recommended.
