When going into the smaller widths, enough to go into mobile menu mode, I'm having the issue of the scroll arrow / mobile links bar displaying out of place, commonly right on top of the article text. Have any recommendations on how to fix or adjust? (example attached)

Possibly noteworthy: As a small template change I did the advice as seen here: to make the trigger at 800px instead of the default 750px

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Do you have the floating menu enabled for the responsive options?

Thanks for your reply! After reviewing more looks like the issue was I also changed @media screen and (max-width:750px) to 800 on s5_responsive_bars-min.css
This was due to the advice of (modifying the first line in the s5_responsive_bars.css file to a larger value) did not seem to do anything, but I did get results when adjusting s5_responsive_bars-min.css, unfortunately now noticing it causes the display bug as well. So after more poking around I noticed 750px was still showing up on the page source in the browser and found / changed 750px to 800px in s5_vertex_addons.php and s5_vertex_addons-min.php
So for a complete list I adjust 750px to 800px in files: s5_responsive_bars-min.css, s5_responsive_bars.css, s5_vertex_addons-min.php, s5_vertex_addons.php
Forgive the new tangent, so far things are looking correct but is there anything else I should change or do these changes look like potential issues?

Was typing this, but thought the other info was more important Smiley
After your inquiry I went ahead and tried to turn off Enable Floating Menu? on the Template / Main / Menu tab , but the issue still displayed.
After that went ahead and tried turning off:
Enable Responsive Active Menu, Enable Responsive Search, and Enable Responsive Menu
But did not have any luck either. Is there a certain place to toggle floating menu for just responsive options?
As an additional note this display error is only an issue with widths approx 800 to 750px in size.

You shouldn't have to modify those files and I would be sure they are set to defaults from the template or a fresh patch download.

Would you be able to post a URL of this so I can see first hand whats going on?

Welp to get the results I wanted I ended up having to change all those files. Perhaps less or more is needed, but only altering max-width: on s5_responsive_bars.css didn't do anything.
Be advised the site in progress is adult themed / NSFW

So far the changes look successful with intent to make max-width: 800px (to make the mobile menu show up on ipads) and to make sure the Mobile Arrow Up / Mobile Links placement doesn't go crazy.

Yeah looks like its working good to me.

We have talked about adding in a setting in Vertex so that you can specify at which width the mobile menu shows up at, maybe we'll have to soon.

Cool! Yea with device type/size popularity changing fairly rapidly, I'm sure an easy template setting would  be appreciated by many.
