I am having trouble removing the index.php file when I enable SEF urls. I have tried all kinds of different things. I have renamed the .htaccess file enabled mod_rewrite. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks

Hello,

In your Joomla global configuration area under SEO settings did you try enabling all of these? I think you specifically would need " Use URL Rewriting" enabled.

I am able to enable Search Engine Friendly URLs, but when I enable  Use URL Rewriting, it breaks all of the links on the site.

I took a look and so did Mike here and everything looks setup correctly. You would need to contact your host regarding this as we can't help any further. Most likely its a server setting causing the issue, maybe server isn't allowing URL rewrites? Not sure but check with them.
