hello, first of all: excuse my poor englisch ... i am german  Wink

i use the shape 5 template for my new site and have a problem (i searched and googled for hours  Undecided)

so, here i go: in the main-menu i just need 3 items (eg.: cars, bikes, more). what i would like to realize is for every item a different page-background, slideshow and modules with content at the place, where now the videos are shown on the startpage of your demo.
maybe the question is: for every main-menu-item i need a different startpage.

that's it.

is this possible?

thanks in regard,
george

Hello,

Yes this is possible. The modules can just be assigned to the menu items and set so they only show on that specific menu item. As for the backgrounds the only way to do this would be to duplicate the template in the template manager area of Joomla. Then you'd assign each duplicate to a specific menu item. Then the backgrounds for a specific copy would only show on the menu item you assigned it to.

Thanx, this worked fine.

Sorry to say, but this worked not!
I copied the template 2 times and changed the background in the sports.css ... but the template-copies do not define the width of the content as i think ... also the font-sizes are completely different  Roll Eyes
If you want to have a look, please take this link: http://inndesign.cool ... "B?ro" is the standart, both other ("Laden" and "Messebau") are the copied templates.

Any idea?

Thanks in advance

Hello again,

the problem with the background is solved (I deleted the content of the copied templates on my local computer and copied all the files from the original template in those 2 folders ... then i changed in sports.css in line 1 the background and uploaded it in my online folders - and what surprise: it worked!)

One problem left:

... also the font-sizes are completely different ...

I really tried hard to solve this too, but had no solution since now ...

Any idea?

Thanks in regard,
Georg

Hello,

It appears that the font size of the homepage is set to "Michroma" but the other menu items its set to "Yanone Kaffeesatz". This is why the fonts look different
