A site was moved yesterday from new.domainname.com into production at the root domainname.com. The site is hosted with GoDaddy. Upon recommendation of GoDaddy, I used a tool called blue velvet to fix broken links after the site move. The tool appears to have fixed all of the broken links and images, except the main site logo. I re-uploaded s5_logo.png file into wp-content/themes/s5_game_world/images directory to no avail. Upon page load, the logo in the top left cannot be found. If I click the logo, which links to the home page, or refresh the home page then the logo is displayed correctly. Any ideas? Thank you! - Trey

It looks like the logo is still referencing the old site URL.  You may need to check your wp-admin/options.php file to make sure the site has the right URL in the database.  There are a couple places where it's set, and they both need to be updated when a site is moved.

Hmm.. I don't see any reference of the old or new URL in the wp-admin/options.php file. Are there any other files the logo may reference for the URL? Thank you! - Trey

Not in the code, in the list of options when you go to that page of your site in the browser.

There should be two settings:  Blog URL and Site URL.

You can also check the theme options and see what mode is being used for the logo, under the "Main -> Logo" tab of the theme options.  If it's set to widget mode, then the logo is being controlled by a widget which is located in the "Logo" position.

Aha! I changed the logo defined in Theme Options --> Main --> Logo from Image Upload to CSS/Default. That did it! Another case closed. Thank you Tristan! - Trey
