Hi all,
I have used MapPress Easy Google Maps plugin on a site with the Oasis theme without problem but I cannot get it to display using Luxon. The div is created but it is blank here.
I am guessing that it is just a setting somewhere but I can't figure out where.

Can anyone help?
Regards,
Bryan Smith

Unfortunately, support doesn't cover third-party plugins.  However, there is a Shape 5 "Map It with Google" plugin in the downloads area which should do what you want.  If you place the widget in one of the Above Body positions, and use something like Widget Context to make it only show on the page where you need it, you should get the result you are looking for.

Thank you Tristan for your response.

With all other things being equal, - WP version etc. - if a plugin displays on one S5 theme built on the vertex framework then I would have thought that if it did not display on another S5 theme built on the vertex framework then the difference would have to be related to the theme.

Please understand that I am not suggesting that there is a 'problem' with the theme - there is no reason to doubt that the plugin can work with the theme. What I am asking for is some assistance with configuring the theme to overcome whatever it is that is inhibiting the display of the map.

I am aware of the S5 google maps plugin and I have tried it, but unfortunately it cannot do what I need.

So I need your assistance - I hope and trust that you will find it in your heart to help me if you can.

Regards,
Bryan Smith

There is nothing I can think of that would cause a problem with the output of the map.  All content output is handled by the framework; the individual themes only change the visual appearance and occasionally layout.

You may want to verify the settings for the plugin you are using, as it is much more likely that it isn't outputting because something isn't configured correctly.
