If i add the optional title for the rss feed used in widget, you get the code for it.
Attached is pic and it is on left side. I had to remove the title as it was messed up.

Will a different RSS widget do what you need?  It appears that the widget you are using is preventing the HTML that styles the widget titles from actually being processed as HTML.  I believe this is the first time I've heard of that happening, so I'm not even sure what would be the cause.

Unfortunately, I haven't ever needed an RSS widget, but I know there are a lot of options out there.
