On your site's menu you have 2 entries "Joomla Stuff" and "Tutorials" that are dummy entries for the sub-menu items.  In other words, the 2 main level items aren't active.  Can you tell me how that's done?  I've been experimenting without much success.  Thank you!

When creating the menu setup those buttons up as links and make the link url javascript:void() and give it whatever title you want. Javascript makes sure Joomla sees it as a link and the void just cancels it out.

I get in the habit of doing that because I do not think that every button on the menu needs to have a link. Sometimes they are just needed to categorize the menus better. But that is a personal design preference.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Mike, thank you very much for the quick response.  It never occurred to me to use javascript.  That certainly works.
Thank you again!
