Hi guys

I would like to do one of two things on the main menu bar:

1. Favoured option - to position a button or menu item in the search position, or other position to the right of the main menu (on desktop). This would be linked to sub-section of the site. This would then appear at the top of the screen when in responsive mode, rather than as part of the main menu. Is this possible to achieve?

2. Least favoured option - create an additional menu item and then apply a suffix to it, so that it looks different to the other main menu items. Can anyone suggest some code for this and also advise in which file to insert it?

Thanks for looking!

Hello,

You can set a menu class suffix to individual menu items in the menu manager and then create custom css just for that class. That would require custom programming though, and that's not something that we provide as part of our support. Adding a button into the search area would also require custom programming.
