Hi there, i have got my test site looking as i want ( incline template cool easy), so now i want to config the video background but for the likes of me
i can't seem to locate the screen. According to your tutorial  "TEMPLATE SPECIFIC CONFIGURATION INTERFACE OF VERTEX"

it doesn't match my screen but i am able to decipher that i should be under "theme specific". I can see the video URL label field but where do i specify the video to use?

Capture attached.

Am i in the right place?

Hello,

Something is wrong with your install as the XML labels are not being read properly. However, you would use the top box for the URL.

It's working ,Awesome template!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If i could impose a quick question i am looking at the module positions diagram and there are
are the two overlays over the video which module controls them?
The video is in "S5 Tab Show Top Custom_1" but can't seem to identify anything else published under "S5 Tab Show Top Custom_1" that controls the overlays.

So wicked.          www.kennydaniel.org/incline
can't wait to finish site.

thanks in advance.

Hello,

I'm not sure what you mean by the overlays? custom_6 in the picture you attached is for the social icons, and custom_1 is where the S5 Tab Show is published, it shows on top of the video which is not a position but just a background in the top area of the site. Custom_1 will always show on top of the video and the video only shows when custom_1 is published.

Sorry, my bad. I mean to say is the 2 sliding tabs that overlay the background video. I've been hunting for them but can't seem to locate them. I'd like to remove one of them.
I checked articles and modules but don't see a front page and reference for them.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

This is the S5 Tab Show extension via the Module Manager.

Hi, that's what i thought but even after disabling all (attached) it still shows up.

I thought i may find it by looking at what is published to Custom_1 but nada.

thanks in advance

Hello,

You must have S5 Tab Show published in another area. Check the custom_1 area which is where that entire section is output in your screenshot.

Sorry, I am confused by your reply. Maybe i am asking the wrong question?

According to the module_positions layout the custom_1 is where the S5 Tab show is outputted. OK, so then i checked to see what is outputted into the custom_1 position according to the module positions layout;  i only find module "S5 Tab Show Top Custom 1".

If i disable this module "S5 Tab Show Top Custom 1" custom_1 disappears which is not what i want as i want the video background.

So, wanting to leave the video background i want to address the 2 slides that overlay the video background, shown as NEWS S5 Tab Show and Video Background.

So then i look at what else is published to the  "S5 Tab Show Top Custom 1" position. I do a search in modules to find what is published to the custom_1 layout area and find only the "S5 Tab Show Top Custom 1".

All the other S5 Tab Show modules are published elsewhere hence my confusion to your previous response. Should i not be referencing the module_positions layout?

It appears to me that the slides overlaying the video are part of the "S5 Tab Show Top Custom 1" module  cuz if i disable it the slides and video disappear. So my question is how to edit or remove the slides that overlay the video shown as NEWS S5 Tab Show and Video Background.

Se attached.

thanks in advance

Hello,

For the video background to appear you need to have custom_1 remained published. If you go into the Tab Show settings for custom_1 you should see all the Headings / Sub Text in the module settings which can be removed. Another alternative would be to add this to the custom.css file.

Code:
.custom1_tab {
display: none;}
