Hello,

I need to make the text & title over the photo of the slideshow more readable.
Is possible to have something like a background under the text ?

This is the situation of the my website : http://www.eupolitics.eu/

I need something like this : https://www.foreignaffairs.com/

Thank you,

Lorenzo

Hello,

Something like that would require custom programming. The styling would be complicated because that text wrapper actually stretches the entire width, it's not contained to a smaller block. I would suggest darker pictures, or adding an overlay to your images before uploading them in a photo editor. You can also add something like this in custom.css, but it will only apply to the small text area:

.iacf_big_title {
background:#000000 !important;
}

I'd recommend putting a black transparent layer on top of your images where you can't see the menus and logo. You could put it at 30% opacity perhaps. I'm not sure exactly but you'd have to play with it and see what looks good for each image. This will fix the whole problem with you not being able to see the menus on the images that are too light in color.

We actually do this on our images for our demos too. Like our latest template for example has a transparent layer on its image fader images. You'd need to add it in a photo editing program like Photoshop.
