Hello,

I have installed just the basic theme on my website and everything works great but when I tried to install the Site Sharper version locally on my computer to check some of the settings I get nothing.

During the installation I don't have the checkbox for install the shape5 content like I saw in the video tutorial and once I open the local website all the content is there but is not active, if I try to activate anything, plugin or template everything goes blank page and there is nothing I can do to make it work again.

I tried to upgrade everything as well before activate the content, I tried to use the Injector, nothing seems to work. As soon as I change something, blank page.

This is true for both version of this theme.

Can you please help me?

I just installed both versions of the shaper on my testing server without any issues, even after doing a full update of everything.  Unfortunately, without a way to look at the site you are having issues on, there's not much I can do.

The fact that you had no issues with the theme on your main server would suggest that it may be related to your local install.  Have you tried installing the shaper in a separate location on your web host? 

Also, have you installed the Vertex Upgrade Patch?  If there have been any changes to WP since the release of the theme/shaper which would cause conflicts with the framework, the patch will have a fix for that.  The download for the patch is updated any time there are any changes made to the framework, especially compatibility fixes.

Thank you for your reply, sadly I could not manage to find the issue on my local installation.
I solved it by installing the shaper version on a subdomain and finally I was able to check the parameters that I needed.

It's unfortunate that you couldn't get it working on localhost, but at least you were able to get it working on a real server.  If you have any more questions, hopefully I'll be able to be more helpful.
