I'm glad I was able to help.  If you're satisfied with this thread, I'll go ahead and lock it.

Actually one last thing (groan/ Roll Eyes) . How do I remove the copyright stamp at the bottom right please? Definitely not finding that though all the clicking around up to this point.

You can either place a text widget in the "Footer Credits" position with the text you want, or you can edit the footer.php file (if not in the root folder of the theme, it's in the vertex folder).  I recommend the widget method, as file edits can be accidentally overwritten if you forget to back up the file when installing the Vertex Upgrade Patch.

Spot on. Added an empty text into that widget (attached) and its gone now. Fab.
